Tuesday & Barbie

Tuesday Cohen has spent over twenty years in the beauty/skincare industry. She became a licensed esthetician in 2010 and graduated from the San Francisco School of Massage in 2015, graduated from McKinnon Body Therapy Center in 2022, completing Introduction to Traditional Yoga Thai  Style Massage. In the same year, she finished the first course in Gua Sha at the Komorebi Institute. Tuesday is an ongoing student of the Komorebi Institute (Ecology in Motion with Clive Witham) which she uses in her treatments to date. Her specialties include Gua Sha, Kansa massage, acupressure, lymph, and facial massage techniques. She has additional training in acne, rosacea, and sensitive  skin types. Tuesday comes from a unique background which has served her well. As a child growing up in Hollywood, she was exposed to artist and maker communities from an early age. As a teenager, she sold her handmade “functional art” on the sidewalks of Los Angeles. Her success with this led to the formation of Headless Designs, a popular boutique with a vintage flair, which she founded and managed throughout her twenties. A true “do-it-yourself” approach is part of Tuesday’s nature; she is known far and wide for her ability to bring creativity to everything she touches. Skin care is no exception. Tuesday is a proud herb enthusiast and she formulates small batches of skincare using herbs from her own garden as well as locally sourced and high quality ingredients wherever possible. She uses some of the products she makes in her treatment room and they can also be purchased at the shop, along with her artwork.

Barbie Santos is a licensed hair stylist and certified massage therapist. She is a sought-after stylist with deva cut accreditation, she earned her cosmetology license in 2010 and did additional training at the Sassoon Academy in San Francisco. Barbie’s the perfect stylist for you if you prefer no fuss wash-and-go styles.
